The Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red presents a stunning tapestry of flavors, expertly crafted from 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Aromas dance between fruity and earthy, as wild blueberry, black plum, cassis, saddle leather, and cedar intermingle. On the palate, this opulent wine delights with layers of crushed ripe blackberry and castelvetrano olive. Fine-grained tannins provide a generous frame for the focused fruit core, with a lingering finish echoing earth and spice.

90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, largely from the Upper Range Vineyard. It will be the only red released in 2018 by Pahlmeyer. Rocking cassis, dark chocolate, crushed violets, gravelly earth, and graphite all define the bouquet, and it's full-bodied on the palate, with the more pure, seamless style of the vintage.
