The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne 1er Cru has a tightly would bouquet with crushed stone, apple blossom and a touch of vervain. The palate is medium-bodied and quite thickly textured for a Puligny. It may be missing the acidity and tension displayed by the Meursault Charmes,though there is decent length.
