Pale amber color. Bourbon barrel like aromas of nuts and buttercream with a dry medium-to-full body and a dried cherry, vanilla, peppery spice, and cedar finish with hefty wood tannins that clamp down on the finish. Nice but too woody and lacking the integration and complexity of previous bottlings.
