Livio Sassetti Pertimali Brunello Di Montalcino is a renowned 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) from the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino DOCG region. The wine boasts an intense ruby red color, inviting you to savor its dark fruits of black cherry, blackberry, and plum, perfectly complemented by sweet spices. Its fresh acidity and elegant, smooth tannins make it a well-structured wine with a balanced finish.
Hand-crafted in late September, the grapes are carefully crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°- 29°C, followed by maceration for 10-15 days. The wine is then aged for 36 months in 33hl Slavonian oak barrels and refined for an additional 6 months in the bottle. The result is a wine with an exquisite balance of flavors, combining modern winemaking techniques with the family's time-honored traditions.
