Hubert Lignier Description

One of the smallest holdings of the Lignier domaine but also one of the most precious. The parcel within “Les Baudes” sits just beneath the Grand Cru “Bonnes Mares”; the Ligniers own 0.17 hectare; and, the vines planted in 1960. Always an incendiary and majestic wine capable of long aging.

Burghound: 92 Points

A slightly more elegant and equally floral-suffused nose reflects notes of spicy red and black pinot fruit. The caressing, round and very punchy medium weight flavors firm up substantially before terminating in a focused and sneaky long finish.
