Expertly crafted from the finest grapes and other top estates in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior regions, this LBV Port is aged for 4 to 6 years and ready to drink upon bottling. The unfiltered nature of this exceptional wine ensures an expressive and rich flavor, with unmatched depth and intensity.
Fonseca LBV Port boasts a very deep, intense color, accompanied by a narrow brick rim. The nose reveals a nearly impenetrable array of dark berry fruit aromas, including black cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant. The wine's unfiltered character enhances the intensity of the classic Fonseca berry fruit, while a hint of minty wild herbs adds complexity. On the palate, this LBV Port is full-bodied and rounded, with beautifully integrated granular tannins offering structure and weight. The luscious flavors culminate in a burst of intense blackberry notes.
