Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Pauillac delivers a stunning vintage brimming with аromatic layers of floral notes, cassis, boysenberry, earth, olive, and tobacco that immediately captivate the senses. Crafted with a high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, this Bordeaux strikes a beautiful balance between power and grace. On the palate, it is rich, fresh, and wonderfully refined, unfolding with a sensuous character and silky, velvety textures that glide effortlessly. This elegant yet expressive Pauillac is a dream at the table—pair it with roasted lamb, duck, beef tenderloin, or aged cheeses for a truly luxurious and unforgettable dining experience.
The 2009 Pichon Lalande is ripe and decidedly flamboyant from the very first taste. Dense and voluptuous in the glass, with serious richness, the 2009 is also almost shockingly tannic. It won’t be ready to drink anytime soon, and yet, there is so much to look forward to. The warm, dry conditions yielded a dense, exotic Pichon Lalande, but there is serious structure beneath all of the fruit.
Deep garnet colored, a little reticent to begin, slowly giving way to notions of warm black cherries, blackcurrant cordial, stewed plums and saut?ed herbs with hints of damp soil, tobacco and beef drippings. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with tightly wound black fruit and earthy layers, framed by ripe, fine-grained tannins making for a long finish.

A seductive wine, delicously ripe with the softest, juiciest fruit over smoky new wood. The wine shows intense fruit as well as a soft Merlot core. The tannins are beautifully integrated in this ripely sweet wine.
Bright and sappy, with kirsch and damson plum notes streaking along, followed by tangy iron and floral notes alongside. There's good zip and cut along the finish, with a lingering mineral edge.
