Includes two small parcels of premier cru, has a pleasant, albeit slightly rustic bouquet at the moment, with ample blackberry, raspberry and crushed violet scents. The aromas are a little disjointed at the moment, but they will be knitted together by the time of bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin rendering this almost Pommard like, although it is not austere on the finish and offers plenty of chunky black fruit and ferrous veins.
