Marie Courtin Resonance Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut is a Champagne that showcases the purest expression of fruit, crafted without any added sugar—making ripe, pristine grapes absolutely essential. Winemaker Dominique has been farming organically since 2005 and biodynamically since 2006, creating her own compost, plowing by hand, and carefully de-budding in spring to minimize the risk of rot in this naturally damp region. The result of her meticulous vineyard work, combined with low yields, clay-limestone soils, and a sun-drenched southern exposure, is a wine of remarkable power, precision, and mineral-driven energy. Fermented with a native yeast strain cultivated from her own grapes during the 2003 harvest, this Champagne undergoes both primary and secondary fermentations naturally. Vibrant, intense, and full of character, it pairs beautifully with oysters, goat cheese, or lightly seared scallops.
