Light copper color. Chocolate frosting and toffee aromas have a spice cake-like edge. A round, slightly syrupy entry leads to a tangy, sweet-and-sour medium-bodied palate with roasted nuts, dark caramel, and brown spices. Finishes somewhat quickly with a charred wood barrel-note and modest pepper. A bit off the mark.
