The 2019 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is youthfully coy in the glass, slowly evolving with a bouquet of dusty black cherries, flowery underbrush and crushed violets. It flows across the palate, savory, nearly salty character, with fleshly wild berry fruits and mineral tones that slowly saturate toward the close. The 2019 is gorgeous in its potential alone, but cellaring is required.
