Though famed wine-growing regions like Bordeaux, Tuscany, Rioja produce a broad range of our favorite wines, you can find plenty of fantastic options without having to look too far away. 

When it comes to choosing the best wine regions in the United States, the list is long. Along the West Coast there are many wine regions to explore and it’s hard to choose which of these may be a favorite as each one offers something distinctly different and delicious.

While California represents over 90% of nation's wines produced, the stellar wines of Washington, Oregon and New York consistently rank on par or better than their west-coast neighbor.
