A blend of 37% Touriga Nacional, 25% Syrah, and 25% Touriga Franca, with the balance Tinto Cão and Tinta Roriz, aged 11 months in 15% new French oak, the 2022 Cedro do Noval offers juicy mulberries, blackberries, and a kiss of blue fruits. It's medium-bodied on the palate and has a nicely balanced, juicy mouthfeel, some peppery, herbal, mineral nuances, soft tannins, and a good finish. It should keep for at least 7-8 years in cold cellars.
