The 2021 Barolo Bussia is a heady, beguiling wine. Dark fruit, spice, herbs, licorice and balsamic notes open in a mysterious, complex Barolo that revelas myriad shades of nuance over time. Musculat tannins appear on the mid-palate and finish as this deceptively mid-weight Barolo opens with a bit of coaxing. There's a lot of wine here.
