The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes has also turned out beautifully, wafting from the glass with a complex bouquet of raspberries and blackberries mingled with hints of orange rind, violets and exotic spices. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's deep and fleshy, with a layered core of fruit, lively acids and remarkable structural finesse for such a young, undeniably concentrated wine. This might well be the finest Feusselottes that Tremblay has produced to date.
Smoky reduction and oak nuances dominate the underlying fruit today but there is good verve and detail to the elegant and super-sleek middle weight flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the focused, beautifully long and well-balanced finale.
