Old Ghost represents the very best lots of old vine estate Zinfandel. The 100+ year-old vines typically yield less than one ton per acre; not surprisingly, the berries are small and remarkably concentrated and complex.

Tasting notes

Aromas of mocha, brambleberry and exotic spice, this fullbodied wine presents layers of dark fruit on the palate with a rich, velvety texture on the finish.

Technical notes

Grapes harvested from the Old Ghost block are aged in a combination of French (40%), American (40%) and neutral oak for 18 months.
