Tasting notes

VALUE-VALUE and value. Right out of the gates, thisvalue was BORDEAUX. The tannic structure was pronounced but surprisingly the fruitiness was wrestling its way onto the palate. With a second day to aerate this wine demonstrated the skill of the winemaker and the greatness of the region. Currant and cherry fruit seem to dominate the palate while a mild slate-like nose introduces this wine. It finishes with elegance without the flair of more substantial bottlings of Bordeaux
