Malamatina Retsina wine is the authentic Greek wine and it is produced using the exclusively Greek grape varieties "Savatiano" and "Roditis". Wine making is effected using the "White wine making" method, under controlled temperature conditions, by strictly selecting the must "foam" (the free run juice), thus obtaining special characteristics in terms of color, aroma, flavor and quality. The quality of Retsina Malamatina wine is also ensured by the state of the art vinification facilities, which are equipped with the most automated mechanical equipment. The addition of a small quantity of pine resin during fermentation gives retsina wine its distinct flavor and at the same time allows the fruity flavors of the grape varieties to be freed. Adding the beneficial properties of resin, which are well known since antiquity, to these characteristics the result is a unique wine with a totally Greek identity.
