Barkan Classic Chardonnay 2010
Barkan Classic Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown at the winery's vineyards in the center of Israel. The vines yield small crops and ripen early. Hand picked in small containers, the grapes are rushed to the winery to ensure maximum quality. The wine ferments slowly at cool temperatures and yields a wine with a rich nose of blueberries, guava, and pears. It is well structured, balanced and lingers in the mouth. Ideal with poultry and hard cheese. Kosher For Passover.
Barkan Reserve Barrel Aged Chardonnay
Barkan's Reserve Chardonnay is produced using only carefully selected, hand-picked Chardonnay grapes grown in vineyards in the Jerusalem corridor. At the onset of fermentation approximately one third of the juice is separated to complete fermentation in new oak barrels. This portion remains in barrels for 6 months before being blended with the balance of the wine that is tank fermented at low temperatures. The resulting wine is an elegant, complex blend of the buttery character of the barrel fermentation and the clean crisp freshness of mountain grown Chardonnay. Kosher For Passover.
Barkan Altitude Series Cabernet Sauvignon 720
This regal purple and black Cabernet Sauvignon from our Altitude Series is derived from our vineyard on Mt. Godrim on the Lebanese border (720 meters above sea level) to achieve its cool climate aroma of eucalyptus, mint, and coffee with tastes of cherries, cassis, herbs, and a hint of tobacco. Aged for 12 months in French oak casks, Cabernet Sauvignon 720 displays a powerful and elegant finish. This wine pairs well with red meats, pasta, lamb, and strong cheeses. Kosher For Passover.
Carmel Appellation Carignan Old Vines
Made from grapes grown on 40-year-old Carignan vines in the Shomron region of Israel, the wine is matured in French oak for 12 months and has a rich, purple color. With a nose of cherries, raspberries and coffee, this is a medium-bodied wine with a long well-balanced finish. Kosher For Passover.
Segals Fusion Red
60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Segal's Fusion has been created by forward thinking winemaker Avi Feldstein, to produce a young, easy to drink wine for today's fast paced and informal lifestyle. A special blend of carefully selected grapes and the high-tech process of micro-oxygenation has resulted in a very round wine with exotic spiciness and plenty of fruit. Serve this wine as a complement to beef sandwiches, lamb dishes, and most importantly, good friends. Kosher For Passover.
Psagot Edom
The Psagot Winery is located in the Judean Hills, just north of Jerusalem and overlooking the Edom mountains to the east. Psagot's Edom is the winery's premier red wine, featuring a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (75%) and Merlot (25%). This full-bodied wine was aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, giving it rich and spicy vanilla notes that integrate nicely with the intense flavors of berries, black currants, and oriental spice. Psagot Edom will pair nicely with roasted meats, stews, and robust pasta dishes, or can be enjoyed on its own. Kosher For Passover.
