| On March 22, 2011, the Wine Spectator picked Dreambird as the Wine-of-the-Day. Not only is the price ridiculously low, and the quality high, but 2 percent of the proceeds goes to fighting Autism. A very clean, fruit driven white, featuring fresh-cut green apple flavors, with notes of citrus zest and a touch of melon to give the wine some weight. Slate accents mark the finish. Drink now. 120,000 cases made. The very attractive label was designed by Raul Inocentiu Neculai, an 8-year old autistic Romanian boy. Part of the proceeds of Dreambird wines went to help Raul in his studies. Future proceeds will help other developmentally challenged Romanian children. (90 Points - Wine Director) |
