With a climate that is on par with France and California, it produces the largest annual export in South America. The terrain situated along the Andes mountains and nearby costal regions, accounts for one of the most attractive niches in global viticulture. In lieu of this, winemakers have stated that the absence of phylloxera and “grafting” vines accounts for the natural purity of Chilean wine itself; lending a positive notion to consumers who also see the unmitigated value in store.
