 France's wine regions have developed distinct identities for their wines, using many different grape varieties and winemaking practices to produce their areas’ best possible wines. With a rigid system of laws regulating production and a romanticized outlook on the luxury and practicality of regional favorites, the country is still a leading force. Currently reforming a market for the exportation of Bordeaux varietals to parts of Asia, France continues to extend its influence even further. Their ability to espouse economy and tillage indicates they are still a prodigy in the international language of wine.
